Effective 3rd April 2019, South African motorists will see yet another increase in fuel.
The petrol price for 93 and 95 has increased by R 1,26 and R 1,31 per litre respectively whilst diesel has seen an increase of 76 cents per litre.
The contributing factors for the fuel hike was the increased price of Brent Crude as well as increases in the country's annual transport tariffs. The deterioration of the rand against the dollar has also added to the heightened cost.
Following the announcement by the Department of Energy, Thrutainers International has amended our Merchant Haulage Surcharge to R 5.00 w/m and the Fuel Surcharge (FSP) to 6,68%. The new surcharges are effective 3rd April 2019.
