The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has announced that diesel prices will increase for the month of April. The recent geopolitical unrest in the Middle East has caused an escalation in international oil prices.

In light of this, Thrutainers International has amended the Fuel Surcharge (FSC) from 17.90% to 39.81% and Merchant Haulage increases to R24 w/m.

The new rates will be effective 1st April 2026.
