In an effort to enhance cargo security, the UAE National Advance Information Centre (“NAIC”) have implemented a mandatory Advance Manifest Submission referred to as MPCI for all cargo to and via the United Arab Emirates.
The UAE MPCI (Maritime Pre-load Cargo Information) requires electronic submission of cargo details 24 hours before vessel departure from the last foreign port.
