The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has announced that diesel prices will increase yet again. The ongoing conflict in the Middle East and supply chain disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz has caused an escalation in international oil prices.

In light of this, Thrutainers International has amended the Fuel Surcharge (FSC) from 39.81% to 55.18% and Merchant Haulage increases to R34 w/m.

The new rates will be effective 6th May 2026.
