The latest announcement will come as a relief for motorists following numerous petrol price hikes in the past few months. The main reason for fuel price adjustments, according to the Department of Energy, is the Rand/US Dollar exchange rate.
We will see 93 (ULP and LRP) and 95 (ULP and LRP) decrease by 13 cents, and the price of diesel (0.05% Sulphur) and (0.005% Sulphur) will decrease by 5 cents a litre.
Following the most recent announcement by the Department of Energy, Thrutainers International have decreased our Fuel Surcharge (FSP) to 5.81% and our Merchant Haulage to remain at R 4.00 w/m. The new surcharges are effective 5th February 2020.
