Following the previous notification regarding Thrutainers International annual price increase, we wish to provide clarity and more detail regarding these adjustments. 

As explained, Port Authorities have increased terminal handling charges by 3.7%. Furthermore, adjustments on utilities, transport and other overhead items have increased in double digits, which is well above the Consumer Price Index (CPI). In order to stay in line with CPI, we have worked hard to control supplier and service provide increases where possible. 

After analysing all price increases imposed on Thrutainers, as well as economic conditions, we are implementing an average increase of 2.71% on import landside charges and a 5.6% increase on Inter-depot movements. These charges are effective 1st April 2020. 

Please note it is the THC/ Unpack and Documentation (DRO) charges that will increase by 5.5% and there is no change to Cargo Dues, ALH and Collection fees.
