On 19 March 2020 the Mauritian government placed all non-essential business and activity into a lock down effective from 20 March for two weeks, thereby preventing our employees from attending our office.
The lock down will affect cargo cargo destined for Port Louis as well as transhipment cargo moving to other Indian Ocean Islands.
We will continue to provide updates to the various final destinations as and when received.
Current status :
- Port des Galets, Reunion: Under lock down for 45 days, effective 24th March.
- Longoni, Mayotte: TBA
- Mahe, Seychelles: No lock down but office is working remotely from home with limited access
- Moroni, Comoros: TBA
- Antananarivo, Madagascar: Under lock down for 15 days
Using our advanced online tools, we are making every effort to remotely keep the administration and cargo tracking as up to date as possible, however please be aware that due to the lock down, cargo movement is prohibited.
Please use our online Track and Trace facility available to registered users of our website www.thrutainers.com Or you can send an email to email@example.com with the Subject: Track “your HBL reference”, and we will send you an email with updated milestones.
We are still contactable by email:
As mentioned before, the circumstances and environment are changing daily, we will endeavour to keep our clients updated at all times via notices and websites.
