
Despite the economical impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, consumers will see another decrease in the price of petrol for the month of May. The sharp decline in the price of crude oil has lead to the continuous decrease in fuel prices.
Consumers have not really felt the benefits of the drop due to the national lockdown, however as the country moves to level 4 and more people return to work, motorists will be able to see the gain.
Following the announcement by the Department of Energy, Thrutainers International has adjusted our Fuel Surcharge ( FSP ) from 0.15% to 0% and our Merchant Haulage Fuel Surcharge ( MHFS ) from R1, 00 w/m to zero.
The new charges are effective 6th May 2020.
