SOUTH AFRICAN FUEL PRICE CHANGES

Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has announced that South African consumers will see an increase at the pumps this week.  They have said international and local factors contributed to the hike as the retail price of petrol fuel is set to increase. We will see a 93 (ULP and LRP) increase by 11 cents, as well as the price of 95 (ULP and LRP) will increase by 11 cents.  Meanwhile, the price of diesel (0.05% Sulphur and 0.005% Sulphur) will increase by 26 cents. 

Following the most recent announcement by the Department of Energy, Thrutainers International have increased our Fuel Surcharge (FSP) to 5.86% and our Merchant Haulage to remain at R 4.00 w/m. The new surcharges are effective 4th September 2019.
